plymouth-theme-solar software package provides graphical boot animation and logger - solar theme, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plymouth-theme-solar
plymouth-theme-solar is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plymouth-theme-solar package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plymouth-theme-solar *
You will get with plymouth-theme-solar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
